Use full search results

When quick results in the dropdown are not enough, open the full Search page to browse every match for your query.

Prerequisites​

  • Your data file is unlocked.
  • You have typed a search term in the title bar search field.

Steps​

  1. Open search from the title bar (click the field or press Ctrl+K / Cmd+K).
  2. Type your query — for example export or Grocery store.
  3. Press Enter without highlighting a single row, or click View all results in the dropdown.
  4. Confirm the app navigates to the Search page and the address bar includes ?q= with your query.
  5. Scroll through grouped sections — for example Transactions, Accounts, Settings, Pages.
  6. Click any result row to open that item (same behavior as the quick dropdown).

Expected result​

  • The Search page heading is visible.
  • Results are grouped by type with section labels.
  • Clicking a result navigates to the correct page (register, settings, or main section).
  • The query in the page URL matches what you typed.
